Day 3 - Lima
Museum day today. Spent most of the day at the Larco Museum. We ended up with our 1 hour guided tour lasting for 2, plus it was just the two of us! Spectacular ancient artifacts that had been buried in tombs, so in gorgeous condition. Mostly Incan and pre-Incan, but my brain is so full I have no idea what I've been told. I do know those big jugs are used as backpacks for carrying liquor. Hate to think about lugging that around! The third photo isn't of ancient artifacts: it's of the signs to indicate which restroom is which.
Then made our way to the National Archaeological Museum. Turns out it's mostly closed for a major renovation. There were a few exhibits set up, but we were too tired by then to absorb much anyway.
